Ms. Nora began her career as an associate at Nora & Partners, LLP in 2007 and has since been made a partner. Ms. Nora was also recently named as an Emerging Lawyer by the Chicago Law Bulletin, which honors the top 2% of all lawyers under the age of 40.

Throughout her practice, Ms. Nora has dedicated herself to the defense of physicians, nurses, hospitals and other allied healthcare providers.  Her clients specialize in all areas of medicine, including but not limited to: emergency medicine; neurosurgery; radiology; maternal-fetal medicine; obstetrics and gynecology; midwifery; neuromonitoring; neurology; and internal medicine.  She also has experience defending clients in general and premise liability lawsuits.  Her broad range of experience grants her a unique, global perspective.  A perspective that she brings to the representation of each of her individual clients.

Ms. Nora is an aggressive litigator.  She represents clients in state and federal court.  She is admitted to the State Bar of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States of America.  She has successfully represented her clients through the litigation process, including at trial and mediation.  She has secured defense verdicts for her clients, but also recognizes the value of obtaining alternative prompt resolutions to cases.  Ms. Nora has also successfully represented her clients through the appellate process.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Ms. Nora earned her Bachelor of Science from The University of Illinois.  She earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School.  While in Law School, she served as the Executive Justice of the Moot Court Honors Board and actively competed in several moot court competitions winning awards for her briefs.  Ms. Nora is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association.  She authored publications in Chicago Hospital News and the Tulane Sport’s Lawyer Journal.
